Second year eligible Finnish centre
is big slick stick-handler who needs to work to further strengthen his lower body in order to add power and speed to his skating. He has good skills and vision, but little consistency. Needs to
be better away from the puck, and
continue to grow his offensive side. Displays some
really good dangle in
his possession skills but has trouble deciding what the read is and can look bad when things go south in transistion. Committed to Denver University where the team who selects him will expect to see upside.

Adam Mascherin, Mr. Big Shot
I feel sorry for Adam Mascherin’s parents. I fell even sorrier for Adam Mascherin’s parents’ garage. The garage must be a mess after Adam Mascherin pounded it out for 10,000 times and then again for 10,000 times more. However, the garage should feel very proud of itself because it nurtured Adam Mascherin’s shot until it became one of the best in the land, not just the junior land, but the
land as well. Adam Mascherin’s shot will land him in the
. Count on it.
The Big Shot: OK, Adam, your big shot will get you the interview. At the interview, you will need to go over your resume. Make sure that you highlight your strengths in addition to your big shot including your overall offensive game, your
passing, vision, creativity, and puck protection skills. The key to coming out of the interview with the job will be in defining your place in the organization that you are interviewing with. Tell them you wish to have the title Offense Creator and Goal Scorer. By the way, goal scorers generally go in the first round.

http://thehockeywriters.com/adam-mascherin-the-next-ones-nhl-2016-draft-prospect-profile/Although many have Mascherin later in the second round or beyond, I feel there is a real possibility that he could end up in the late first or no later than 40. He is a potential goal scoring and offense creating machine. Goal scorers who are offense creators go in the first round.
Strengths:
Big Shot – Release, heaviness, velocity, accuracy
Finish – Goal scorer
Passing – Big league
Hands
Body style – Tank
Puck protection
Work ethic and determination
Vision and creativity
Lower body strength
Work ethic
Under Construction (Improvements to Make):
Play without the puck – Needs to develop 200 foot game
Weight and strength
Continued improvements to the defensive side of his game
Skating, acceleration and top speed (agility is good)
Samuel MontembeaultMontembeault is in the mould of the new age of goaltenders – tall, lanky and athletic. Still learning the position, the agile netminder is fluid in his movement between the pipes, but can be caught napping occasionally on shots directed toward his glove hand. He also needs to improve his angles in the net, but, at this point, he has starting goaltender potential at the
level.

Juho LammikkoTalent Analysis
Lammikko is frequently compared to 2011 Chicago first-round pick
Joel Armia since both are tall, right-handed shots and both are from the same Assat club. Those comparisons are a bit erroneous. More of a late bloomer than Armia, Lammikko is still developing as a prospect. Dominant offensively at the junior levels, he has yet to put up the numbers that Armia did at the same age for the Assat men's team. At the same time,
Lammikko's defensive game with Kingston has been more advanced than Armia's was at the same age. In addition to his obvious physical attributes, the things that have drawn interest from scouts are Lammikko's
skating ability, passing skills, and anticipation. Agility and physical strength are areas that will need to continue to develop; not unusual for taller players his age.
Future
Lammikko returned to Kingston for his second season with the Frontenacs in 2015-16 after a brief five-game stint with Assat in Finland to start the year. He skated for the gold medal Finland team at the 2016 World Juniors and signed an entry-level contract with Florida in April 2016. A reliable two-way forward who can score at times, his role at the pro level is likely to be that of a Jere Lehtinen-type winger, though he may not score with the same consistency as the former Dallas Stars forward.
